Gigaton AI, Inc. ("Gigaton," "we," "us," or "our") operates Producer Betty, an AI-powered music production assistant application ("the App"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our App.

Information We Collect

Account Information

Email Address: Collected when you sign in with Apple (optional)
Name: Collected when you sign in with Apple (optional)
User ID: A unique identifier created for your account

User Content

Conversations: Messages you exchange with Betty, including questions about your music projects
Project Information: Project names, track mappings, session titles, and notes you create
Learned Facts: Information Betty learns about you and your projects to provide personalized assistance

Important: Your conversations with Betty may contain personal information you choose to share while discussing your music projects. This information is stored to provide continuity across sessions. We recommend not sharing sensitive personal information (financial details, passwords, etc.) in your conversations.

Usage Data

Feature Usage: Which features you use and how often
Session Duration: How long you use the App
Commands: Types of commands you execute (not the content)
App Version: The version of the App you're using

System Permissions & Local Data Access

Producer Betty requires certain macOS permissions to function. This data is processed locally on your device and is not transmitted to our servers unless explicitly stated.

Screen Recording Permission: Required to capture screenshots of Logic Pro for visual analysis. This also allows Betty to detect when Logic Pro is running and read the project name from its window title. Screenshots are sent to Google's Gemini AI to identify track names, tempo, and session structure. Screenshots are not stored permanently.
Microphone Permission: Required for voice commands. Audio is processed by Google Cloud Speech-to-Text for transcription. Audio recordings are not stored.

How Betty Interacts with Logic Pro

Logic Pro does not provide a public API for third-party applications. Producer Betty uses:

Screen Recording API to capture screenshots and detect the current project
Mackie Control (MIDI) to read and control mixer parameters like volume, pan, mute, and solo

Producer Betty only interacts with Logic Pro. We do not access, read, or control any other applications on your system.

Diagnostic Data

Error Logs: Information about errors that occur in the App
Debug Logs: Technical information to help us improve the App (TestFlight builds only)
Crash Reports: Information about App crashes to help us fix issues

Purchase Information

Subscription Status: Whether you have an active subscription
Subscription Tier: Your current subscription level (Free, Pro, etc.)

Note: Payment processing is handled entirely by Apple. We do not collect or store payment card information.

How We Use Your Information

To provide and maintain the App's functionality
To personalize your experience with Betty based on your projects and preferences
To provide continuity across sessions by remembering your conversations and project context
To process your subscription and manage your account
To improve the App based on usage patterns and feedback
To diagnose and fix technical issues
To communicate with you about updates, support, and promotional offers (with your consent)

Data Sharing and Disclosure

We do not sell your personal information. We may share your information in the following circumstances:

Service Providers: We use Google Cloud Platform (Firebase) to store and process data
AI Processing: Your conversations are processed by Google's Gemini AI to generate responses
Legal Requirements: If required by law or to protect our rights
Business Transfers: In connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets

Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you services. You can delete your account and data directly within the App (see "Your Rights" below).

Account Data: Retained until you delete your account
Conversations: Retained until you delete them or your account
Usage Data: Retained for up to 2 years for analytics purposes
Diagnostic Data: Retained for up to 90 days

Anonymized AI Training Data

When you delete your account, Betty's responses (not your messages) may be retained in an anonymized form to improve our AI service. This data contains no personally identifiable information, user IDs, project names, or any way to link it back to you. Only substantive AI responses are retained; short acknowledgments are not kept.

Your Rights

You have the following rights regarding your personal data:

Access: Request a copy of your personal data
Correction: Request correction of inaccurate data
Deletion: Delete your data and account directly in the App
Portability: Download all your data (profile, sessions, conversations, and project notes) directly in the App
Opt-out: Opt out of promotional communications

How to Exercise Your Rights In-App

Open Producer Betty and tap your profile icon
To download your data: Tap "Download My Data" to export all your sessions, conversations, and project notes as a readable file
To delete your account: Tap "Delete Account" and confirm. This permanently removes your account and all personal data.

Data Security

We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal data, including:

Encryption of data in transit (TLS/SSL)
Encryption of data at rest
Access controls and authentication
Regular security assessments

However, no method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security.

Children's Privacy

Producer Betty is not intended for children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us.

International Users

Your information may be transferred to and processed in the United States or other countries where our service providers operate. By using the App, you consent to such transfers.
